Adweek Ad of the Day Uber Eats' Horror Flick Stars Keke Palmer and $1 Million in Hidden Promo Codes
Little Black Book Uber Eats and Keke Palmer Deliver a Heart-Stopping Halloween Horror
Halloween — and the 6M lbs of candy American’s purchase each year — presented the ideal moment to highlight our new convenience store offering.
In a season where brand marketing often lays on the irony, we wanted to deliver a truly haunting piece of content for real horror freaks and geeks (see how many references you can spot!). Our short film was a labor of love from icons of the industry. It was a true honor to work with living phenom Keke Palmer (Nope), Director and Editor brothers Dan and David Trachtenberg (Prey) as well as the award-winning special effects, makeup, and design maestro Alec Gillis (Starship Troopers).
“Don’t Run Out” continues Uber’s mission to direct more consumer focus on its offerings beyond restaurant delivery. The film’s chill-inducing tone plays into the spirit of the holiday, and also adds an urgency that underscores the brand’s aim to be a resource at a time of need.
